Chapter Thirteen, Unlucky For Some

*** I know it's old, but Harvest Crescent wouldn't load and there weren't any pictures. My game now runs better with better graphics, but I had to use old pictures because the world glitched up and I had to start again -__- Harvest Crescent will not be returning after Chapter 14, which was meant to be my halloween chapter.***

The alarm clock buzzed off excitedly at 7am. Milla leaped out of bed, and cleaned her teeth.
"Today is the day!" She told herself in the mirror.
She brushed her hair and threw on some clothes. She shook George.
"George, it's time to get up! We're going to meet my parents!"
"Uhh, ohh," He moaned as he got up. He certainly wasn't a morning person.
George slowly shuffled into the bathroom and got dressed. Milla was already downstairs and making breakfast. She served some up and placed them on the outdoor table.
George was brighter now he was fully awake. They ate their breakfast quickly, and got in the car and drove back to the Doe's house.
"Are you ready?" George asked Milla.
"Yes, Yes I'm ready. I've waited all these years for this moment." She somehow contained her excitement.
She took in a deep breath, and pushed the doorbell hard.

Marie opened the door slowly and quietly; she didn't want to wake anyone up. She had washed out her hair dye. Louis was already awake though.
"You're back early!" He grinned and pulled her in for a tight kiss. "I got your message on facebook, what do you need to tell me that was so important it couldn't be told over the internet and you flew back to tell me?"
"I'm pregnant." She smiled weakly and hugged him.
"Oh my gosh! Yay! Do you want a boy or a girl?" He was genuinely happy, he loved children.
"I want another girl," She smiled back, "But a third boy would be okay, I guess."

Alisha woke up in her bed, with Delvin knocking at the front door. He made it home. She threw on a dressing gown and ran down the stairs to greet him. Delvin had washed out all the dye before he left France, too. Marie also washed it all out.
"Your back!" She squealed as he walked in his house.
"Yeah, filming has been postponed until further notice."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"Don't be. Where's Sandy and Austin?"
"Sandy is getting ready for school, and Austin already left."
"I'll go see her. Does she know?"
"I don't think so."

Delvin strode up the stairs to see his little girl. Sandy hardly recognized him. She barely saw him as a toddler and baby.
"Daddy!" She said as she ran up to him and hugged him.
"Hello princess!"
"I've missed you so much! Where have you been?"
"I've been at work, in France. I've been filming a movie, Daddy's going to be on the television!"

Hanna woke up and looked around her new room. There was a part of the room that looked different to the others. It almost looked like it stuck out. She got up, and looked for Simon.
"Dad?" She called.
"Milla, I didn't think you were awake yet. What do you want for breakfast? Cereal? Toast? Pancakes? Full English?"
"Oh, can I have some orange juice and some pancakes?"
"We haven't got any orange juice, I'll go out and get you some. Wait here."

Simon walked out the kitchen and into the gate chamber. He locked the door behind him. There was no way out now. He walked up the stairs, and out into the open. Simon jumped in his car and drove down to the super market.

Hanna took this opportunity to check out the weird wall. She pushed it hard. There wasn't anything behind it. The wall felt hollow. She tried pushing it a bit harder. The wall collapsed, and stairs appeared before her. She cautiously walked down them to reach the lowest level...

Pete woke up and looked in the mirror. He brushed his hair roughly, and walked to school without anything to eat. He didn't bring anything with him. On his way there, he went to the police station, and reported his girlfriend missing.
"Hello, how can we help you?" A tall man said boldly.
"I'm here to report a missing person."
"And who might that be?"
"My girlfriend, Hanna Ashton."
"How long has she been missing?"
"Over a day."
"Okay. What does she look like?"
"She was wearing her prom dress last time I was with her, a big pink dress. She dyed her hair a pinky-purple color, and has emerald green eyes. She's turning 19 in a few weeks time. We're graduating from school this month."
"Right, I got all that. And who are you?"
"I'm her boyfriend, Pete Doe."
"And have you got the slightest clue where she might be?"
"We went looking for her twin brother, Austin, after the prom, because he had left early. We went separate ways. She had her phone on her when I left her. The prom was at Country Hill Hall. Austin and I have been calling her mobile all day, and looking around town."
"May I have her number? And have you got any pictures of her so we can take these for evidence and send out a search party?"
Pete handed him his phone, and brought up his contacts. He showed the policeman all the pictures he had of Hanna.
"She's a good looking girl, consider yourself a lucky sod!" He joked.
"Yeah, She's the best thing that ever happened to me. My whole world. Now she's gone, I don't know what to do without her."
"Ah, Lad. We'll find her, don't you worry. I'll just be needing you to show me where her house is. I need to speak with her parents."
"Okay, Sure. I gotta go to school in a few minutes though."
"That's fine, I can drop you off there on the way."
Pete got in the police car, and directed the man to the house.

Anna's parents, Rachel and Daniel walked slowly into the room where Anna was being held. They confirmed it was their daughter.
"She was so young," Rachel whispered.
Daniel said nothing, He was grieving.
"I wish I could bring her back." Rachel cried.
"We need to plan the funeral. I want it over and done with."
"I'll get started tonight."

Simon searched around the shops for some orange juice. He asked the lady who was putting some cans on the shelves.
"Excuse me, where's the orange juice?"
"It's over there, Wait a second, come with me." She gestured for him to follow.
"I can't see any here."
"I'm so sorry, I think we've run out. Do you want me to have a look in the store room?" She was very helpful.
"Yes please."
She ran into the cold room and searched for some orange juice. It looked like there wasn't any.
"I'm so sorry. There isn't any in the store room either! I don't know where they've vanished!"
"It's okay, I'll just get these, and go to the other store. I'm Simon by the way."
"I'm Christine." She smiled at Simon. "I'll open another till for you."
Christine had black hair like Simon, and it was short and styled nicely. She wore little make-up, and wasn't in her uniform. She had big green eyes and big pink lips.
"Thanks."
"Oh wait a second! I think we have some in the staff room. I'll just have a look for yo-"
"It's fine, honestly, don't worry. I'll get some tomorrow."
"Are you sure? We can always get some more tomorrow."
"Yes, I'm sure, and I'm fine."
She scanned all his items.
"I know we just met, but I would like to make it up to you. How about I buy you a drink at the Klub?" She offered.
"Thanks for the offer, I think I will come, but just for one drink. My daughter is at home."
"Sure! Pick me up tomorrow at 7? Here's my address." She scrawled on a piece of paper.
"I'll see you then,"
"It was nice meeting you!" She called as he walked out the shop.

Simon had a date for tomorrow... He hadn't been on a date since he was dating Joanne years ago. Well it wasn't exactly a date, more of a thank-you drink.
Hanna looked around the basement. There was a huge wedding arch, and lots of furniture. It appeared to be a crib, lots of toys, clothing and shoes. Hanna wondered if they belonged to Joanne and her children. There was a pool in the way. She knew she would have to dive in the water to get to the other side. She took off the shirt and jeans, and jumped in the water in her underwear. She took the plunge and swam over to the edge, and lifted herself out. She investigated the objects there.
There was definitely a crib there. A shoe rack and lots of dresses. There was a toy box, with all the contents sprawled on the floor. Hanna dared not touch anything, in case Simon noticed. She turned around to see lots of toys and trophies in the corner, behind the stairs. She walked to the edge of the pool, and jumped in. She swam over to the side, and read aloud.
"Here lies Milla McHaven, beloved Daughter of Joanne McHaven and Simon McHaven, sister to Jessica McHaven and Joshua McHaven. Milla will be missed dearly. Though her body is gone, her spirit remains. Rest in Peace, heavens' newest angel."
She choked up and cried, for the child she never knew. There was a picture of the real Milla next to her urn. The girl did look a lot like Hanna. She saw there were notes on the ground. She picked them up and read them.
"Dear Mummy and Daddy, today I feel really ill. The nurses told me I would be fine, but I feel really bad. My hair is falling out and I feel tired. I just want it to stop! I want to come home and give you a big kiss and a big hug. I want to be with you!" There were stains on the paper, the next part was blurred and they were unreadable.
Another read; "Dear Mummy and Daddy, Can I have a big bar of chocolate when I get out of hospital? I haven't had any in such a long time. It would make me feel a lot better. Or you could bring me one up next time you visit me? I really want to see you soon. It's been AGES! I'm going to go to bed now, and tomorrow I'm moving rooms. Apparently it will be easier to take me to the sessions from here. It's on the second floor instead of the third. I miss you so much. Love, Milla xxxxxxxx" On this note, there was a cute little drawing of Milla and her parents holding her hand walking on grass with lots of flowers.
Hanna cried for this little girl. She had obviously suffered a lot, at such a young age. Her siblings died, she had some form of Cancer, and she died so so young. She was one of many children who suffered from an illness or incurable condition. Hanna wondered why Simon thought she was Milla, if she was dead? Maybe he had a mental health issue, or maybe he was deluded. His heart was in the right place. He was only doing what he thought was right, not necessarily what was right.
Hanna swam away to the stairs, and grabbed her clothes. She tried to shut the door she had opened. At least she knew it wasn't just an odd-looking wall anymore. She took a shower and put on her pajamas. She put her underwear and clothes in the washing machine. She didn't want Simon knowing she had discovered the underground passage...

Simon was searching around town for some orange juice. He went to the other store on the other side of town. He saw a tall guy with spiky blonde-green hair. He was pretty buff and had lots of muscle.
"Hey, are you Simon?" The stranger asked.
"Uhmm, Yes. Who are you and how do you know my name?"
"You met a little lady called Christine?"
"Yeah, this morning, works in the other store across town. Why?"
"I'm her little brother. She called me to let me know that she's going out tomorrow night. Listen, pal, you try anything on my sister, I swear to God, I will kill you!" He grunted.
"Whoa, dude, calm down. I asked her for some orange juice, and the store didn't have any. She's only taking me out to apologize."
"Well, you better be tellin' the truth, otherwise you've got a lot more than my sister coming your way."
"Why would I be lying? I have three kids and a wife, why would I want to cheat on her?"
"Well how would I have known that? For all I know, you could be some crazy guy who goes around taking girls away and killing them, I don't know! I'm just protective of her."
"Well I can tell you now, that I am none of those things, and have no interest in hurting your sister, or you in any way. Okay?"
The man grunted and walked away. Simon found some orange juice and bought it right away. He walked to his car, and drove home.

George and Milla were ringing the doorbell frantically. Milla was desperate to meet her parents for the first time in 17 or so years. After 100's of rings, Jay answered the door.
"Hello." He sounded annoyed. Well you would be if someone was persistently ringing your doorbell early in the morning.
"Dad?" Milla asked.
"Michelle? Is that really you?" He was in awe of how beautiful his baby girl had grown up to be.
"Yes, No, wait? I'm Milla. Milla Doe."
"You better come in sweetie."
George followed her into the house.
Jesse walked down the stairs.
"Jay, who was at the door?" She saw Milla for the first time.
"I-I-Is that Michelle?" She gaped.
"My name is Milla." She persisted.
"Milla, wait, let them speak." George calmed her.
"We had a daughter called Michelle, she vanished when she was three years old. Her auntie took her away to an orphanage, under a new name. We didn't find out until a few weeks ago."
"I was taken to an orphanage, by my Aunt, Francesca?"
"YES! Michelle! Baby your home! Oh my baby girl! We've missed you so much!" Jay and Jesse cheered at the same time. George was happy she finally met them.
"But wait, if you really are my parents, how come I don't have wings?"
"It skips a generation." Jesse told her.
"Jesse, why don't you put on the chicken, I think we could talk about this over dinner?"
"Oh yeah! Do you want mashed potatoes, or roasted potatoes? Wait, my baby girl always loved mash!" She grinned like a cheshire cat.
"Yes!"
"Jay, Open a bottle of champagne, or wine, we need to celebrate this!"
George hugged Michelle tight and kissed her lightly.
"I'll help your father," George said as he got up.

George followed Jay into the garage.
"Jay, I need to ask you something."
"What's that?"
"Well, I know you barely know me, and you only just met your daughter for the first time in years, but I would like to ask you for your blessing; I would like your daughter's hand in marriage."
"Of course! If you make her happy, then you make me happy."
"Thank you SO much! I've already bought the ring, I'm going to propose to her tonight."
"Good on ya' son." Jay said as he brushed George's shoulder in appreciation.

Back in the kitchen, Jesse was preparing the chicken, when she knocked the paper towels onto the stove. She didn't even notice them. She placed the chicken in, and left the kitchen without another look.
She returned with glasses for the drinks. Jay and George were already back in there with Michelle.
"So, do I have any brothers and sisters?"
"Yes, four. Two boys, Two girls. Hugo, Ryan, Amie and Mackenzie."
"Cool, I always wanted a little brother. The family I lived with only had girls. Five others in fact..."
"Who's that?"
"The Salles? Lily and Darren adopted me. They had 5 girls after me, Rose, Abbie, Nichol, Janice and Leona."
"Ouch, that's got to hurt."
Jay laughed. "You did the same! Michelle and then quadruplets!"
"Nichol, Janice and Leona are triplets though."
"See?" Jesse laughed.
Jay hugged his wife and kissed her on the cheek.
They were talking and laughing for hours.

Rose sat at her desk, with her head on the table. She was crying. She sat right at the back so nobody would notice her there.

James and Mackenzie were right at the front. Next to each other. Abbie wasn't in this class. Matt was around the center of the room, busy with his science, and they were in English. Hugo was asleep at the back next to Rose. He was pretty bored too. Ryan was at the front asking questions. He just didn't get it. Amie sat behind her sister, and tutted at her. Mackenzie wasn't even paying attention to the lesson, just busy sucking Jame's face off. James used to be an honor student, now with Mackenzie, he just abandoned studies for her.

Rose thought about all the times she could have told him. All the times they had fun. All the times they told each other they were best friends forever. They didn't matter anymore. She didn't matter anymore. Rose sobbed so hard, she woke Hugo up.

"Hey, Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah," She sniffled. "I'm fine."
"Oh, Why are you crying then?"
"I'm fine! Leave me alone!" She screamed.
"Just trying to help..."
"Well, don't. I don't need help. I don't want help. So go away, okay? Get that into your thick skull!"
"Excuse me? All I was doing, was trying to help you, I'm a nice person like that, you know, helping people. You should try it instead of biting their heads off." He replied with.
"Arghh!" She screamed. "Just shut the f*** up!"
"Do you know what? You're so rude. You are the rudest person I have ever met. Grow the f*** up, and act your age!" Hugo was mature for his age.
"Your such a tw**. You know that? Telling me to grow up? Pfft. You sound more like my grandad."
"Excuse me sir, can I move? This inconsiderate little b**** thinks it's alright to give out insults, but obviously cannot take them. It's affecting my learning as you would say."
Everyone gawped at him. He swore at one of the teachers. Nobody would ever dare do that. They all Ooh'd and Ahhhh'd him.
"Hugo, Rose, out here, now." He said without any emotion.
They both reluctantly picked up their stuff, and walked out the room, whilst glaring at each other.

"What was all that about in there?" Mr. Roberts asked.
"Rose was crying so I asked her what was wrong, and then she snapped at me, and started having a go at me, when all I was doing was helping her. She swore at me a few times, so I retaliated and swore back, you heard me the last time."
"Rose? What have you got to say for yourself?"
"I'm sorry." She said and stormed off. "I can't do this!" She screamed as she strutted up the stairs.
"Where are you going young lady?!" Mr. Roberts fumed.
Hugo invited everyone to watch.

Mr. Roberts followed Rose up the stairs, as did the rest of the class.
"Rose, You need to come back down stairs and we can sort this out." His tone suddenly changed.
"No, It must all end. End now." She said as she focused on the stairs. She continued climbing them. Everyone else did too.
"What needs to end?"
"Everything." She was going mad. She didn't sound normal at all. The other students got out their phones and were filming her. James phoned her parents instead.
"Lily, you need to get here now. Rose has gone mad. She's going to the roof. I don't know what's going on. Just get here. She's almost at the top."
"What? James? She's going to jump! Oh God! No, no, no! This can't be happening. Stall her. Okay? Convince her to come down."
She put the phone down and raced to the school. She dragged Darren in the car.

"Rose," James said just before the last flight of stairs.
"James." She said coldly.
"Rose, you've got to stop this."
"You lied to me."
"What? No, I didn't. You've just got to stop doing this. You need to come back. Back down."
"You told me we would be best friends forever. Tell each other everything."
"We are, come down the stairs and we can sort it all out."
"No! It's got to end." She was possessed, or at least it seemed like it.
Abbie had heard the news, and was called up to go there.
"Rose!" She shouted.
"Abbie." She said heartlessly again.
"Rose," She panted. "What. What are you. Doing?" Abbie just ran up 5 flights of stairs.
"Ending it all."
"No,no,no. You can't do that, Rose. You know? What about Mum and Dad? Nichol, Janice and Leona? They're going to miss their big sister, their role model. I'll miss you. James'll miss you. You guys will miss her wont you?" She prompted her sister's classmates.
"Yeah." they muttered.
"You see? You can't do this now, not yet. You aren't even an adult yet."
"Don't you see? None of you care! You wouldn't mind if I went now, left you all!"
Rose manically climbed the final set of stairs, and onto the roof.
"Is anyone else going to convince me not to do it? Huh? Come on! Enlighten me!" She growled.

James stepped forwards.
"Yes, Rose. I will."
"And what can you say that will make me come down? Show me the light!"
"Rose, You are one of the most important people in the world to me. You taught me to love, how to love, and what love means. You taught me everything. You helped me when I screwed up, and if you go now, and I screw up, who's going to help me then?"
"Mackenzie! You don't need me anymore! You've got her!" She hissed.
"Now wait a second!" Mackenzie said as she climbed onto the rooftop. "You're acting like a spoilt brat. Why are you doing this, Rose? Attention. That's what. You don't really want to end it all. You just want to be loved."

Rose was already standing on the edge. She went silent, and bowed her head. "You're right. I just want to be loved. Like you're being loved. I want what you've got."
"Come here, get down from the edge. Take our hands." James and Mackenzie said together. Rose reached out for their hands. She misplaced her foot, and slipped to her demise.

"I love you." She mouthed to James.
They all watched in horror as she landed on the ground.
"NO!" Abbie cried as her bit sister hit the floor. James held her back.
"Abbie, Abbie. Do you want to be there too?"
Abbie stopped pushing and released her grasp.
"I'm sorry," She cried.
James held her in a hug. Mr. Roberts dialed for an ambulance.

Matt ran up to Abbie. "Abbie! It's okay, I'm here. It's alright. I'm here now." He hugged her tight.
Mackenzie hugged James. "I love you." She whispered to him.
"They were her last words." He sighed.
"I know. She loved you. A lot."
"Don't you think I don't know that? It's my fault she did it! She knew I loved you, and I didn't think she loved me this much! She wanted my attention. That's all!" He collapsed on the floor and held his head in his hands.

"Don't you dare blame yourself. She was attention seeking. Jealousy got the better of her."
"But I made her feel like that. She wanted to make all the pain stop, because of me."
Mackenzie didn't have an answer as quickly. "I did too. She was jealous of me. Not you. She wanted to be with you."
"I let her fall. She slipped out of my grip. She put all her trust in me. I let her down!" He sobbed.
Mackenzie sighed, and sat with him.

Lily and Darren were too late. They arrived to a sight; their first daughter, splattered on the ground. Rose was looking at her mother.
"Goodbye," it seemed she mouthed.
"No! Rose! No! Don't say that! Don't you dare leave me!" Lily held her head in her hands. "She's gone." She cried. "Darren! She's goooone!"
Darren held his daughter's hand and rubbed his wife's back.
Abbie, Matt, James and Mackenzie came running down the stairs to see Lily and Darren.
James shook Darren's hand. "It's my fault." He sobbed.
"It wasn't anyone's fault."
"I let her slip. She did it because she was she wanted to be loved, loved by me. She wanted me to love her, so badly, or just any attention. And it's all my fault." He cried.
"Abbie come here!" Lily cried and hugged her eldest daughter.
"She's gone, Mum. She left me." She said tucked into her mum.
Mackenzie hugged James, Darren hugged Lily, and Matt hugged Abbie. Police and ambulances arrived on the scene. School was dismissed early. It was the topic on everyone's mind. Why did she jump? What did she look like on the ground? Did she get pushed? Only the people on the roof knew. They weren't allowed to tell.

"Can you smell burning?" Jesse asked Jay.
"No, you must be imaging things."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
"I must go to the toilet, which way is it again?"
"Here I'll show you,"
Jesse and Michelle walked into the kitchen to discover the source of the smell; the kitchen was on fire! The paper towels caught alight and set everything alight. The front door was blocked by the fire, and the door to the bathroom was blocked too.
"George! Dad! Help us!" Michelle screamed.
"What is it?"
"Open the door!"
The fire whooshed up to his face and he screamed.
"George! Find a fire extinguisher! Quickly! Before it swallows me! Michelle and Jesse are in there too! Run!"

George searched all the rooms for an extinguisher, his phone had lost battery, and there wasn't a signal over here. He looked frantically for a phone and an extinguisher. There wasn't one. He couldn't do anything but try and escape. He wouldn't leave them here. He loved Michelle, and he didn't want 4 other children to be orphans. He needed to be a hero. He had already saved two lives before. Now was the time to prove himself. George found some washing that was just washed, all wet. He ran back to Jay with it, but slipped and fell to the ground. He struggled to get up. He was coughing hard. Jay was coughing hard too.

"George, Is that you? Come on! You can make it!"
George tried to pick himself up, and managed to after lots of pep talks from Jay. He got there and threw the wet clothing over him. It didn't work. It made more of a mess, and more to catch fire.

"Michelle, look in the fridge for water. Any liquid will do!" Jesse screamed through the smoke.
"What? I can't hear you!"
They coughed and choked on the smoke. Michelle reached out for the fridge door, and pulled the eggs, butter, milk, cheese and the vegetables down with her. Half the fridge fell to the floor as well.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Michelle screamed as she was attacked by food. The fridge fell down too. Michelle was crushed to death.
"Michelle!" Jesse screamed as her eldest daughter, who she was just reunited with, was crushed to death by her fridge. "Noooooooooo!" She sobbed.
"Jesse? You need to get out of there!" Jay screamed.
"I-I can't leave her here!"
Jesse tried to drag Michelle out from under the fridge. The smoke made it hard to see, and it made her weak. She began to feel tired, and smoke filled her lungs.
"I can't let them suffer in there anymore!" George shouted as he ran into the burning door, and through the fire to a dead Michelle, and an almost dead Jesse. Jay tried to pull him back, but he was getting weaker with every breath.

"George! Go baaack!" Jesse cried.
"No! She would have wanted this!" He said as he tried to lift her up and carry her to a safer room.
"George, let me go. It's too late. We can't make it. You need to get out. You can still make it."
"I'm not leaving her to burn!"
"George, no! You're crazy!" Jay shouted.
"Crazy about her! I don't want to loose her this way!"
"You've already lost her. I'm sorry. She would want you to live. Go, you can still make it." Jesse persuaded.
By this time , Jay was in the kitchen with them.
"I'm not moving. Just get yourself out." Jay told him. The fire licked him all over. "Aghh! It hurts so much!" Jay screamed
"Jay!" Jesse screamed as she was swallowed whole into the flames, and scolded her skin.
George watched helplessly as his girlfriend's parent's were instantly killed, and looked over to his girlfriend. He was going to ask her to marry him. They were going to get married. A big wedding. They were going to have two kids, a boy and a girl called Elliot and Emily. They were going to have little grandchildren too. They were going to grow old together. That couldn't happen now. She was gone, forever. Michelle would never get to wear that white dress, walk down that isle, throw those flowers, say I do. George would never love again. He couldn't. She was his one true love. It was an eternal love, never ending, forever. George would never see her smile again, those rosy cheeks, that purple hair. Jay would never get to walk her down the isle. Get to give her away to her one true love. Jesse would never see their grandchildren, ones with the perfect purple hair.
George stroked her cold cheeks, and kissed them slowly.
"I'll see you in a minute, my angel." He said as he leaped into the fire, and left his life behind him.

Mint walked to the hospital to see Florence. She could go home soon, but would be in a wheelchair for a while. He wanted to be there for her, every step of the way. He had something in mind for her after graduation. The school was quite far away from the hospital. After 15 minutes of walking, he finally got there. Florence was in the waiting room. She was waiting paitently for Mint and her parents.

"Mint!" She shouted as she greeted him. She couldn't get up to see him.
"Flo', I'm glad you're getting better. I have some stories to tell you..."
"What?"
"Rose Salle fell off the roof. Apparently she went crazy and wanted to kill herself, then James and her sister talked her out of it, and she slipped off."
"Oh, my, God! I take it she died?"
"Yeah, it was tragic. Although we got out early, it wasn't worth someone dying. Her life was way more precious than leaving earlier. We're being sent to another school for a few weeks whilst they investigate the scene. The place is swarming with police now."
"Nobody else got hurt, right?"
"Noone else fell either, just Abbie and her parents were absolutely gutted. Imagine loosing a child. She was younger us..."
"It was such a waste. She was so pretty, she had her whole life ahead of her."
"But so do you! You've got your whole life ahead of you, you're beautiful, and you're the love of my life."
Florence leaned over to kiss him. They locked lips for the first time, that had an actual meaning. It was a beautiful moment.
"Thanks,"
Angela, Cassandra and Derrick arrived shortly after. Mint offered to wheel her home, which wasn't that far considering they lived next door to the hospital.

Jenna opened her eyes to a bright light. There was a doctor standing over her. She rubbed her face, and looked on her hand, it was covered in blood.
"What happened?" She asked the doctor.
"You were in a car crash." He said easily.
"Is anyone hurt?"
"Yes, You, Florence Denn and Mint Aae. Anna Pollo was killed."
"Oh my God! Are they okay?"
"Yes and no, The boy is fine, but the girl is in a wheelchair at the moment. She will be alright in time."
"A-and what's wrong with me?"
"You've broken three ribs, fractured your wrist, sprained your ankle and bruised some of your organs. You will recover, but to be safe, you must stay here."
"Okay, but what about school? Won't I need to go?"
"You can attend classes here for an hour a day. It won't make much of a difference, but it will help."
"Thanks. What about Florence?"
"She's gone home now. She's taking time off school."
"Oh," Was all she could say.
"Is there something wrong?"
"No, I just wanted to see her."
"She lives next to the hospital, and she still needs to come in every week or so to get checked."
"Please let me know when she is here? I need to tell her something."
"Sure."
The doctor turned around and walked away. Jenna's mother, April walked into the room with her Fiance, Joey. April was carrying their son, Neil.

"Mum!" Jenna's face lit up. Her mum had been away in the city for a few weeks. Neil had gone with her and Joey didn't live with them.
"Jenna, sweetie! Alright?" April asked as she handed Neil to Joey.
"Not exactly brilliant, but I'm okay. I thought you were coming back Friday?"
"Joey told me the news, I got on the next train back from Bridgeport."
"I'll take Neil to the playroom and let you two talk alone, okay?" Joey said as he walked away.
"Thanks, hun." April said sweetly.
"Any news on Dad?" Jenna asked timidly.
"Yes. I found him in Bridgeport. I bumped into him even, he told me he wanted to see you again, but I told him you wasn't quite ready. He gave me his number and told me to give it to you when you are sure you are ready to meet him. I'm sorry."
"I am ready! I want to meet him!"
"Sweetie, you're in no state to see him now." April consoled.
"I guess... But as soon as I'm out of here, I get to meet him. Deal?"
"Deal. Just... Just be careful. You don't know what he was like." April looked away from her daughter.
"What? Mum tell me."
She let out a sigh. "Your father desperately wanted a son, and when he saw you, well let's just say he was less than pleased. He told me he wanted nothing to do with you, or me for that fact. After your first birthday, he would come home later and later, smelling of beer and bars. He told me he was working overtime. Of course at first I believed him, I was blinded by love. He would come home drunk, night after night. It really ticked me off. One night he pushed me to the limit. I also had a drink that night, a few too many. We began to argue in a drunken slur. I remember telling him we were over, and I was leaving him and taking you too. He didn't seem phased by it at all. He was glad in fact. He grabbed you from your crib, and shoved you in my arms and screamed at us. He took all my clothes and threw them out the window and threw my bags out too." She paused. "Well that's the whole story."
"Mum... I-I don't know what to say. I'm sorry I ever brought it up. I'm sorry for all the times I told you I hated you, I didn't mean a word of it."
"It's okay, it isn't your fault. Let's just hope for your sake your father has grown up and acts his age."
"I'll at least wait until you're ready to have him back in your life."
April smiled and hugged her daughter.

Danny and Alisha sat on the bus together.
"I've been thinking, I never really spoke to you before the prom." Alisha told him.
He was nervous about speaking to her. "Yeah, I guess it took someone almost dying to bring us together," He laughed a little. To make him comfortable, she laughed too, and stoked his arm.
"You're really smart, and athletic too."
"You really think so? You're really pretty too."
She giggled. "Of course I do! And Thanks."
"Can I try something?" He asked her nervously.
"Yeah, Go on."
He leaned in to kiss her, but she pulled away.
"Danny, I don't mean to be rude, but we barely know each other, maybe we should take it a bit slower, okay?"
He was gutted. "Oh, I'm sorry." He was so shy and looked out the window.
"I'm kidding! Come here!" She said as she kissed him on the cheek. He turned round to her and kissed her on the lips.
"You're a really good kisser," He said between kisses.
"Really? This is my first kiss..." She said blushing.
"I know we're taking this fast, but will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes," She said quietly.
They got off the bus together, and introduced their parents to one another.
Danny's parents were farmers. They lived on the other side of town.
His father, Lawrence, founded their farm. He had a passion for gardening since he was a little boy. He taught his wife and sons all he knew.
His mother, Stevie, mainly tended the home, and sold their produce. She maintained a spotless home, and raised their children.

Danny had a little brother called Charlie. He was almost a teenager. Charlie had cute freckles and shaggy blonde hair. He loved to fish and was a natural for gardening. He was most like his father in personality, but looked more like his mother. He liked to watch the horses in the stable, but most of all he loved video games.

Danny also had a little sister. She was their youngest child, and their last. Her name was Francesca. She didn't like farming like her brothers, she preferred ballet and wanted to become a musician or a dancer

And of course, there was Danny. He got most of his looks from his father, but his brains from his mother.
They were very well off. The used to have a huge farm, but they sold most of the land off in order to pay for the mansion they live in now!

Alisha was overwhelmed by his huge house.
"Wow." Was all she could manage.
He took her inside and looked for his family.
He found his mother in the lounge.
"Mum, this is Alisha."
"Well Hi there, sweetie! I'm Danny's mum, but you can call me Stevie. Pleasure to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too," She smiled.
Danny and Alisha went looking for his siblings, Francesca and Charlie.
They found Charlie in his bedroom, playing on his xbox.
"Hey," Was all he said as Danny came in the room.
"Charlie, this is Alisha."
"'Sup." He was too busy with his game to even look at her.
Danny rolled his eyes. "Hi, Charlie." Alisha piped.
They walked out the door, and to his sister's room.
Francesca was playing with her dolls.
"Hi! I'm Francesca!" She was a lot happier than Charlie, and a lot younger. She was only just a child. Everywhere she went, she made everybody smile, and was a ray of sunshine. There wasn't a bad bone in her body. She tried to please everyone and not to upset anybody.
"I'm Alisha. Who's that?"
"This is my dolly, Polly. Say hello to Polly."
"Hello, Polly." Alisha played along.
"Would you like to have a tea party with us?"
Danny and Alisha looked at each other. "Sure, why not?"
"Great!" Francesca paused, "I'll go and get the snacks, you stay with Polly."
That meant Alisha and Danny were alone, except for Polly.

Christine slowly walked home to find her brother sitting on the coach.
"What are you doing, Christine?"
"If this is about my night out, then you can say it already. Okay?"
"Fine, Christine, I just don't want you getting hurt again. The last guy you went out with broke your heart in a million pieces. I don't want that to happen again."
"It wont! I'm just going out to a club with a friend, I mean-"
"A friend? How long have you known him? A day? A week?"
"Actually, I'm apologizing to him. That's all. I'm buying him a drink, that's it. Nothing else."
"I'm coming with you."
"You are so overprotective. Fine. You can come, but don't be breathing down my shoulder, stay on the low."
"Sure. I just want to make sure you're safe."

Simon still wasn't back. Hanna decided to search the house for her phone. Hanna scurried around Simon's bedroom. She searched all the drawers in his dresser. Her phone wasn't there. She found a small rectangular box. She opened it carefully. There was a gun inside it. She stared in shock at the gun. Why did he have a gun? Had he shot someone before? Would he shoot her? Did he lie to her about his children and wife? All those questions raced through her mind.
After a few moments, she regained her trail of thought, and continued her search.

She ran into the kitchen and opened all the cupboards. Her phone wasn't there either.
"Damn!" She looked around the house for a home phone or a computer. There was an old phone in the laundry room. She listened in for a dialing tone. There was one! She dialed her home number, and waited for an answer.
There wasn't one.
She dialed her brother, and waited, and waited....

And you're going to have to wait until next chapter! Haha! Sorry guys!!
Will Austin pick up?
Will Hanna escape?
How will the quadruplets react when they see their house?
Hold your questions; they'll all be answered soon enough!
I hope you enjoyed this chapter, I'm very sorry it took this long to get out!

You can find almost all of the characters in Harvest Crescent on the exchange, check it out at: http://www.thesims3.com/userExchange.html?selectedAsstType=all&persona=tigerkid56
If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them, and if one of my downloads doesn't work, please let me know and I can try and fix that for you.

AUTHORS NOTE: Pets literally ruined my game, so some of the hairs have gone because of this. All my children's and toddler hair has vanished and it wont install any more of them. I'm working on this but it's almost impossible. If you have any idea how to fix this, please let me know!!
**UPDATE**
Showtime also did this, but a newer patch (1.32? Not sure) fixed this, so SOME of the hair has returned, just not all of it.

Important Notice

In case you didn't know already, Harvest Crescent has taken a long hiatus. I will no longer be continuing this story, because I wrote all of the next chapters out in blogger, and then it deleted it because it crashed. I was so mad an I've lost my inspiration for the story.

I did, however, write some of the next chapters, but they are very far behind. One chapter is focused around Halloween, and it's January now. I don't see the point in posting it now. There are hardly any pictures in these posts, and I will not be taking any. Please comment letting me know if you would like to read these chapters (They are my favourite chapters and the longest) but be warned that there will not be any more to come.

I have started a new blog, Secrets Of Lovelock Manor. If you would like to check this out, please click this link; http://lovelock-manor-tctara.blogspot.com/

I am also thinking of 'recreating' Harvest Crescent. It won't be exactly the same, but there will be elements of similarity, and unknown twists. I haven't thought of a name as of yet, but I will keep you updated. Some characters we love, hate and know may just be returning ;)

Chapter Twelve, Movies, Hospitals, Birthdays, Heartbreaks and Forgotten Pasts.

Marie and Delvin had to go to France to finish filming 'Commitment Issues'. They also had to dye their hair and change their look completely.
Marie walked into her daughter's bedroom.
"Melanie, I've got to go now. Come here and give me a big kiss!" She said with open arms.
"Bye Mum." Melanie wasn't exactly pleased that her mum was leaving her for a week.
They hugged and Marie went on into the living room, where James was.
"James, I'm going now."
"Okay, See you." He wasn't exactly phased by it. James was too busy playing Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

Maire rolled her eyes and said her goodbyes.
Louis caught her arm as she went down the stairs.
"Hey, Where are you going missy?" He said in a cheeky voice.
They kissed and Marie caught up with Delvin at the airport.

The journey only took 2 hours. They met the little boy who was playing Alexander, Henri Fouchier. He lived in France with his parents and his big sister. He spoke very good English.
Andrew Stan, the director of the film, approached the trio as they arrived at the location of the shoot.
"Okay, Marie, this outfit is for you to wear, you've gotta change your glasses to these ones, and head down to make-up and they'll do your hair." He said as he handed her her new clothes.
They were a black corset top, and a long flowing skirt.
"Delvin, this shirt is for you, and so are these pants. You need to go to make-up too, their gonna dye your hair."
He was given an orange and black shirt with a pair of black trousers.
"Henri, you just need to put on these glasses and change your clothes."
Henri was given big round glasses to wear and a white and red stripey shirt.
(Note: The game crashed whilst they were in France, so some things are messed up here."

Here are the leading roles:

"Okay Guys," Andrew announced, "In this scene, Cassandra and Don are sitting by the fireplace, kissing and what not, when Alexander walks in on them."
"Got it." They all said.

"Oh I love you, Don." Marie moaned as she sucked Delvin's face.
"Cassie, I love you too."
"Eww! Get a room you two!" Henri was disgusted.
"Fine!" Marie was pretending to be angry.
"How about a bedroom?" Delvin suggested.
Henri rolled his eyes at them, and walked out of the room.
Marie giggled as Delvin carried her up the stairs and into the bedroom.

"Marvelous, Darling! Marvelous!" Andrew was excited and very pleased with his actors.
"Gotta make it believable, you know?" Delvin joked.
Marie glared at him.
"Okay, next scene! Bedroom ASAP!"
Andrew was seriously camp.

Delvin placed Marie carefully on top of the bed. They had to pretend they were woohoo'ing in this scene.
Marie began to feel a bit queasy.
After filming that scene she headed to the toilets.
She was violently sick.
Marie came back onto the set looking really pale.
"Marie, darling, are you okay?" Andrew was worried about his star.
"Yeah... I'm fine." She looked like she was going to be sick again.
"You're not, go and rest love, We'll do the scenes your not in."
"Thanks,"
Marie walked out of the bedroom, and into another.
She put on her Pajamas and crawled into bed.

She dreamt about her last night with Delvin.
They were in a forest; in their underwear and lingerie.
Delvin approached her, and kissed her lightly.
Louis and Alisha were watching them, they approached each other, and sobbed on each others shoulders.
They weren't angry, but distraught, in disbelief, just plain upset.
Marie looked around to see her husband. She looked him in the eye, then to the ground.
She pushed Delvin away and ran to Louis. Louis was disappointed in Marie.
"I'm sorry," She mouthed.
He shook his head, and walked off into the trees...

Marie woke up with her heart pounding, and then the sudden desire to be sick.
She launched herself into the bathroom and vomited, again. She cried a little.
"This isn't normal nausea, it's morning sickness." She announced to herself. "And it's not Louis'."

Back in Harvest Crescent, Alisha was preparing her youngest daughter for her birthday.
Sandy was turning 5. (Into a child)

Florence woke up in her hospital bed.
"Where's Mint?" She asked her parents and her sister, who were sitting by her side.
"The green guy?" Angela asked.
"Yeah, Where is he?"
"Urm, He started getting all sentimental around you whilst you were asleep, and Dad scared him off," Angela said whilst giving her father an It's-Your-Fault-Look.
Their mother rolled her eyes. "Florence, I'm glad your okay."
"Thanks, Mum." She paused, "How long have I been out?"
"About 3 days. The doctors weren't sure if you were going to make it." Mint said as he walked in the room.
"Mint!" Florence was so excited.
"Mum, Dad, I think we should go now," Angela told her parents.
Florence gave Angela a look of thanks.

"I'm so glad your okay, Flo!" Mint said as he hugged her.
"Are you hurt? Did you get caught up in the crash?"
"No, I'm fine. I was way out of the way."
"How about the others?"
"Jenna's not looking too good, Anna died, Kendra's in here too."
Florence gaped in awe at Mint. "I've got to see Jenna."
"You can't, She's in intensive care right now. They're trying to remove the glass from her face, and put on her casts."
"She's broke bones?"
"Yes, her shoulder is smashed, her wrists are fractured, her left leg is partially broken, and her right arm is broken."
"Oh My God," Florence cried for her best friend, "I have to go see her!"
She tried to leap out of the bed, but fell to the floor instead.
"Florence! NO! You're bed bound for now..." Mint screamed.
"Huh?" She said from the floor. "What's wrong with me!?"
"You've dislocated your knee cap, and broken your right ankle. The doctors said you can have crutches in a few weeks time."
"Ugh!" She moaned.
"I'm sorry,"

"My, My! You have grown since I last saw you!" The shadows screamed.
"Who are you? What do you want from me!" Hanna was terrified.
"You know far well what I want!" A man stepped out of the shadows. He was wearing a black outfit and he had jet black hair.
"No! No I don't!" Hanna wailed, "I don't know who you are, What I've done, What you want, I just want to go home! Please! Let me go!"
"Oh no, My pretty, Don't cry." He said as he held her face in his hands. "I just want to keep you safe, that's all."
"But I was already safe! I live with my twin brother, my mum and dad! My dad is an actor, and my mum is a surgeon!"
"Don't lie to me! You're an orphan! You lived in an orphanage!"
"No I didn't! I've always lived with my family!"
"Your name is Milla."
"It's Hanna."
"Don't argue with me, you know what I'm capable of!" He snarled at her.
Hanna was scared sick. "I don't know who you are, so how could I?" She was frightened of this man. Hanna spoke much more softly this time.
"I thought I told you to not argue?" He glared at her, and struck fear in her heart.

Hanna looked up at him with teary eyes and a ruined dress. "What do you want me to do?"
"You'll just have to wait and find out." He gave her a wicked grin and pulled her close. "You're mine now," He whispered into her ear as he sang nursery rhymes, and she drifted off into sleep. He picked her up and carried her away.

Alisha waited upon Austin's arrival. He didn't come to his little sister's birthday party.
"Mum,
I can't make Sandy's party today, I'm out looking for Hanna with Pete. She's missing. Dad's away and he doesn't know. Please forgive me and send her my love. I have a present for her when I come back.
Austin."
Alisha sighed as she read her son's message.
"I guess it's just you and me,"
Sandy looked up to her mother and smiled.
"Happy birthday Sandy!" She roared
Sandy clapped and grew up!
Sandy grew up into an adorable little girl!

Abbie was watching her sister cry over James.
"Rose? What's up? Why are you crying?"
"Oh, Abbie. I didn't think anyone was home..."
"Yeah, We were at Ballet. Nichol, Leona and Janice are home as well. So why are you crying?"
"It's just over some boy. You wouldn't understand..."
"Trust me, I know these things."
"Well... He is Milla's boyfriend's brother. James."
"So.... Doesn't that make him your... wait. Lemme think." Abbie paused to think "Milla's brother in law?"
"Yes, but Milla was adopted! She's not our sister."
Abbie was shocked. "How do you know?"
"I overheard Mum and Dad's conversation with her last night."
"So what's with James?"
"Oh, Well he likes someone else. We've been best friends since we were your age. We promised each other to be best friends forever."
"And he hasn't taken the hint?"
"Nope. He's too busy with Mackenzie." She spat out her name.
"I've got an idea!" Abbie's face filled with excitement.
"What?"
"Let's throw a slumber party!"
"Mum and Dad are going out tonight... I guess we could sneak one in!"
"Great! Invite all your girl friends, and get your sleeping bags! Plus it's my birthday tomorrow!"
"It's our party!"

Rose and Abbie got busy with planning their party. Now they just needed the triplets to be quiet about it.

Kendra paced around her room in the hospital. She thought about all her mistakes. All the things she did wrong.
Austin must have been a good guy to want to help her. She just couldn't remember what he did.
Danny and Alisha came to visit her.
"Hey, Kendra." Danny said as he walked in the room.
"Hi," Kendra paused, "Who are you? Sorry, I can't remember anything."
"Oh, I'm Danny, and this is Alisha. We saved your life."
"Well, I guess I never said thanks, so, Thanks!" Kendra giggled.
"Yeah, you were pretty outta it." Alisha commented.

Back in France, Marie was still unwell.
"Hey, Marie." Delvin said as he entered her bedroom.
"Uhh, I was almost asleep! What do you want?" She groaned.
"Oh, sorry. Andrew wants to film you."
"What? Whilst I'm sleeping?"
"Yeah, It saves time doing it later, he also wants a word about something."
"Like what?"
"I don't know. Go talk to him."
Marie got dressed and spoke to her director.

"Andrew, Delvin said you wanted to see me about something."
"Yes, Marie darling, Are you feeling any better?"
"Yeah, a bit."
"Because I just want to film you being sick, you know, for the scene when Cassandra discovers she's pregnant?"
Marie was suddenly really worried that Andrew was on her case.
"Oh, okay. So, you're just going to follow me into the toilet and watch me be sick?"
"No. Your going to take a pregnancy test too. We'll edit it out later anyway to say your pregnant..."
"Okay. I'll let you know when I'm gonna hurl."
"Thanks love."

Marie was so worried and scared. Every one's going to know she's pregnant now! What if they tell the paparazzi? She'd be screwed! Three kids are enough. Not another! The thought of having another child, which might not even be her husbands, made her sick. Literally.
"Andrew!" She yelled as she ran to the toilets.
The crew came rushing into the toilets when Marie was sick. There was the test on the sink. Marie washed her face and opened the box. Inside that box, held the truth for Marie. She braced herself, and took the test.
She waved the test around in the air.
"Come on, please don't be pregnant, please don't be pregnant." She whispered over and over again, as herself and Cassandra.
She watched as the sign rolled over.
Pregnant.
Marie was emotionless. She went blank. She began to cry.
"Pregnant? What will Daddy think of me?"

"Oh you little star!" Andrew chanted after Marie's piece. "That was fabulous!"
"Well, I am fabulous!" She joked.
"Go back and have some rest lovey,"
"Okay, I will."
Marie walked out of the bathroom, and bumped into Delvin.
"Well, are you?" He asked her.
"Yes," She whimpered
"Is it mine?"
"I-I don't know!" She sobbed.
"I just hope the kid looks like you and not the father."
Marie ran up into her room and cried her eyes out.

Simon carefully laid Hanna on a bed.
"Wake up, my princess," He cooed softly to her.
"W-where are we?" She stuttered.
"Oh, you don't remember? We're home now,"
"Home?" Hanna rubbed her eyes in disbelief.
"I'll let you get settled in here. This is your room by the way."

Hanna looked around her room. There was a sink, toilet, a bed without any covers or pillows, table and chair, and a crib.

"I expect you will want to change your clothes? Come into my bedroom and I'll get you something."
He gestured for her to follow her. Hanna walked slowly behind him.
Hanna picked out a white blouse which was way too big for her, and some jeans. She only had the shoes she was wearing, and they were uncomfortable, so she walked around barefooted. She found an old top and bottoms to wear to bed.
"Thanks," She smiled weakly, and laid her destroyed dress on the bed, and attempted to fold it up, of course that wasn't going to work.
"I'll do it love. Get some rest."
Hanna walked back to her room and laid on the bed. Simon walked out the room, and cried as he saw his son's grave.
"Oh, Josh. Why did you have to die?" He bowed his head, and carried on walking. Images of Joanne, Josh, Jess and Milla rushed through his mind.

Joanne was his wife. She was beautiful and had pink-purple hair, which wasn't dyed. It was her natural hair color. They had three children together. Josh, Simon's only son, Jess, their toddler daughter, and Milla, their oldest daughter. Milla was the only one with her mother's hair color and eyes. She was daddy's little girl. She was special to him. They were best friends.

Josh died years ago. He got bullied at school a lot. One day, after school, the bullies followed him home and beat him until he died. Josh's body couldn't take it anymore, and gave in. His last words were "Goodbye, Jess." He was closest to his littlest sister, Jess. They were like twins, except Josh was a teen, and Jess was a toddler.
Joanne saw the state Josh was in when he died, and she burst out into tears. She called Simon to see. Josh's broken body flashed in his mind.
"MAKE IT STOP!" He cursed to the sky.
He crumpled up into a ball in the corner and cried.

Hanna peered through the door. She saw what was happening to him.
"Are you alright?" She asked. She was genuinely concerned, because if he died now, or something, she wouldn't get out.
"Milla," He paused, and wiped his eyes, "I don't want you to see Daddy like this, go and play in you room."
"Oh, I was wondering whether you wanted me to make dinner or something?"
"No, it's fine, just go to your room."
"Are you sure? I mean, I don't mind."
"I said, go to your room!" He shouted at her.
Hanna ran back into the room and laid on her bed in fear of her life.

Joanne appeared before him.
"Simon," She said as she touched him.
"J-Joanne?" He stuttered.
"Yes, Simon. It's me. You need to look after her."
"But, Joanne! I need you!"
"I'm always here," She smiled, and walked away into the light.
"Jo'?" He cried out. "Don't leave me again, Jo'!"

He began to have flashbacks of their wedding day.
The Joanne he married turned into the Angel he saw now.

Simon remembered Jess. His youngest daughter. She looked just like him; Black hair, green eyes. Jess fell down the stairs, and into the basement with the pool in. She dipped her hand in the water and splashed about.
Jess lent in and put both arms in. She splashed even more. Jess slipped into the water. A helpless toddler. She couldn't shout, and nobody would have heard her. Instead, she tried to swim. Jess couldn't even walk yet, but somehow she managed to get to the other side of the pool. She went under a few times, and her lungs filled up. She gave up, and sank to the bottom of the pool. Jess was dead. Joanne and Simon came running down the steps, hours later, when they couldn't find her.
And at the bottom, lay their youngest child, dead, and drowned.
Joanne cried and walked away, She couldn't handle it.
Simon jumped in and tried to get her out. He placed her on the other side of the pool, and leaped out to revive her.
Jess was already dead, no doubt about it, but Simon didn't give up.
"Come on Jess! Do it for Josh!" He was on the brink of tears and breaking down.

Water poured out of Jess's tiny mouth, but there was no heartbeat. He lifted her in the air and shook her.

He laid her to rest in a crib, forever.

Hanna accepted the fact that she would now be known as Milla. There was no escaping that. He had been talking to his dead wife, who was supposedly an angel, and crying.
There was a knock at her door.
Simon burst in with a sandwich.
"I'm sorry I shouted at you earlier."
"It's okay, I just wanted to help."
"It's alright, I know you did."
"So, why were you crying?"
"Oh, You wouldn't want to know..."
"I do, You need to tell someone, and I'm the only person here apart from you."
"Okay, here goes," He took a deep breath and began to tell the tale."You know your brother and sister, Josh and Jess, they died, and your mother, Joanne jumped off the roof. Josh was murdered by some boys in his school. He would be about 20 now...
Jess drowned, she fell in the pool. I think she fell down the stairs or something, and then started splashing about and fell in. I don't know, I got there at the wrong time. Jess was so tiny, and she wouldn't have lived if we got her out in time.
Your mother," He paused, and wiped his eye. Joanne was the one person he cared about more than Milla. "She committed suicide. She couldn't take it any more. It was her fault Jess died, or so she said. But it wasn't ever her fault. She was so beautiful, so young..."

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" Hanna was in shock that this man had gone through so much. He looked so young to have had a son who would be 20, and a young wife. Hanna even began to like him. He was very handsome and had beautiful jade green eyes, and jet black hair. He was pretty ripped too.
"It's okay, Milla. You're fine though, aren't you? You haven't been hurt whilst I was gone have you?" He was worried about Hanna.
"I'm fine, but how have you coped without Mum?" Hanna decided to play along.
"I only have one reason... You."
Hanna blushed and hugged her new 'dad'.
"Get some sleep, honey. I'll see you in the morning." He said as he kissed her goodnight.
"Night."

Hanna dreamt about Pete.
She was probably never going to see him again.
She had missed her little sister's birthday party. Sandy had grown up. She would never see her either. Sandy wont even remember her.
She wont ever see her twin again. Austin would have to grow up without her. They were going to move out together with their partners. She wont ever see her parents again. She wont ever get married to Pete, or go to Austin's wedding. She wouldn't ever have Pete's kids. Just like they planned. A boy, Jeremy, a girl, Lola. She just wanted to see their little faces, just once, with their daddy... and grandaddy.

Kendra padded all around her room.
"Who am I?" She asked herself over and over again.
"Kendra Sister," He brother said as he walked through the door.
"Matt? Is that your name?"
"Yeah, I'm Matt, your brother."
"Oh, Who was that guy who was here the other day? August?"
Matt laughed, "Austin, your boyfriend, but you dumped him, so he's your ex boyfriend."
Kendra went silent. "Austin? Ashton? I was dating an Ashton?" She suddenly remembered.
"Yeah, Why? What do you remember?"
"He had green hair? He was athletic and has a twin?"
"Yeah, that's right. Keep going. What about before we came here?"
"I had a boyfriend called... Jared? And he, he hit me?"
"Kendra? Did Jared hit you? For real?" Matt had never heard his sister talk about Jared like this before.
"I think so. He had brown hair, and he was the top boxer of fight club. He had a rough life. I dated him, but he thought of me as a punch bag, so he hit me. And I let him, if I resisted, he would hurt me. Even more so. Once he tried to rape me." Kendra wasn't even phased by what she just said.
"Kendra, did all that really happen?" Matt was shocked.
"Yes, It is all true. But please don't tell Mum and Dad!"
"I have to! They need to know these things! Kendra, you were almost raped, they have a right to know that."
"I guess so," Kendra was defeated.
"You get some rest and I'll send up the doctor to let him know that you're remembering."
"Thanks, Matt."

Kendra laid down to get some sleep, but the images of Jared swirled around in her mind.
On one occasion, he pinned her to the wall, and beat her until she bled. Kendra cried.
"Please, Jared! Please!" She whined.
"Shut up you whore! I can do what I want to you!" He said as he dragged her onto the bed and forced her clothes off.
"Jared, You don't really want this, you know you don't want this!" She pleaded with him.
Jared pulled his shirt over his head.
"Yes I do. I want it so bad, that I'll do anything I can to get it. So, why don't you get on that bed, lay back and let me do it all. Do as I say, Kendra."
"Jared, Please?" She begged, but she was defeated. Kendra gave in, and let Jared do what he likes. Kendra had sex with him, unwillingly.

She locked herself in the shower, and washed herself to get clean, but she would never be clean again, not after what he did to her.

Everyday after school, he would drag her out of the building, and make her come home with him, and do the same thing to her. One day, Kendra stood up for herself.
"Hey babe, do you wanna get it on at my place?"
"No, no I don't, Jared. Today, I want to go home clean."
"What? You don't wanna? Well, you know what happens now."
"Yes, Yes I do. But to be quite honest with you, I think it's time it finished."
"What? Kendra? No! You're leaving me?"
"Yes! You get it at last! I don't love you! You've hurt me all means possible, and you still think I love you? Your an idiot!"
"I'm sorry Kendra. Take me back! Please!"
"What? So you can rape me again? No Jared, it's over, WE'RE over!"

Kendra woke up with her heart beating, and with teary eyes. She broke down and sobbed.

"Okay, so we've searched the school, the prom location, her house, both hospitals, the police station, bookstore, my house, and her friends houses." Pete declared.
"Let's check out other houses, and while we're there, hand out flyers." Austin told him.
They searched all around town for Hanna. If only they knew....

George and Milla arrived at the Doe house. Milla braced herself, and pushed the doorbell.
'DING DONG'
She waited and waited.
"I guess they're not in right now," George told his girlfriend sadly.
"I'm not giving up!" Milla was determined to meet her mother and father.
"Let's go over to the park next door, just wait until they get back." George persuaded her.
"Fine, I need to sit down anyway,"

Mary and Joe, Kendra and Matt's parents, walked into Kendra's room.

"Kendra, We've been thinking, and we think it's probably best for you to move away from here, you know, leave town."
"We're going back to Sunset Valley, and to our old home."
"No! We can't go back there!" Kendra kicked off and shouted.
"Why, honey?"
"Because He's there!"
"Who's there, sweetie?"
"Jared,"
"We'll move to Twinbrook? Or Bridgeport?"
"I guess I could live in Bridgeport. I always did want to live in the big city."
"Yes, So it's settled, we're moving to Bridgeport. I think we'll be living in an apartment for a bit, but it will be fine, I promise."
"What about Matt?"
"Matt's not coming with us. He's been offered a job. He's going to stay with a friend."
"Oh, good luck to him then." Kendra paused, "When will we be leaving?"
"Sometime this week, the doctors said they can transfer you to the hospital in Bridgeport."

"Hey, Matt, have you see Hanna?" Austin desperately asked his pal.
"No, Austin, I haven't. I'll come help if you like?"
"Sure, Pete and I were getting tired, we could always use a hand."
"No problem, but I need a favor,"
"Sure, what do you need?"
"Can I live with you, just until my birthday, because when I reach adulthood, I can work at the hospital."
"We can be roommates! Sure, it sounds a great idea."
"Cheers, my parents and Kendra are moving out of town. Their going to Bridgeport."
"Oh, And Kendra, she doesn't, remember?"
"No, sorry dude. She remembers everything but you, which is strange. By the way, she thought you were called August this morning!" Matt laughed.
Austin laughed too, Matt was his best friend, even though he was a little younger than him.

Meanwhile in France, Marie and Delvin were almost done filming for today. They were going to go home pretty soon because the film wasn't due for release for another 3 months.
She wasn't anywhere near as queasy as before, her stomach had almost settled. She still hadn't taken in the news.

Marie turned on her laptop and opened facebook.
She had three messages.
1. Louis
Hey Babe, How is the filming going? Message me back later. James has gone out tonight, and Mel is going to a sleepover. I said she could go, and I rung Lily to check up on them. Love, Louis.

Marie replied to her husband with: Hi Louis, It's all okay, give me a call when you get this, I need to tell you something important. Make sure you pick Mel up in the morning xxx

2. George
Hey Mum, Just checking to see you got there all okay. I heard the flights are behind or something? I think a plane went down just after you took off! I'm still so scared! Mum just answer me to make sure you're okay! George(:

Marie replied to George with: Hi Sweet heart, I got there all fine. Have you found out about that plane? And do you think I will be back on time? Don't worry about me, I'm all alright. Love Mum xx

3. FACEBOOK USER
Hi Marie. I know you've gone to France, and I just want to let you know, I really miss you, mum really misses you. Well, from what she can remember of you. She's got Alzheimer's. You should really come down to Twinbrook more often. I know this is your Facebook, because it says Marie 'Blue' Hans. You used to be Mare 'Blue' Bell To me and Adam. Marie, just one visit, see mum before she goes, and looses a grip on reality. If you don't do it for me, do it for her. Love, Keslie.

Marie hadn't seen her little sister, Keslie since they moved. Keslie was still a teenager when Marie left Twinbrook for Sunset Valley, where she met Louis, and lived most of her life. Then they moved to Harvest Crescent. Keslie had short red-brown hair, and big yellow eyes. She had darker skin than Marie and didn't need glasses. Kelsie used to like wearing Marie's clothes, and dress up as a queen when she was little.
Adam, their little brother, had spiky blonde hair, and blue eyes. He was also a teenager when Marie left home. He was the youngest in the family.
Their mother, Sharla, was edging on elderhood when Marie left them, She had fading brown hair, with plenty of grey hairs, and green eyes. She was once a very beautiful young woman, but nobody would believe that now.

She braced herself and replied to Kelsie
Kelsie, You should have added me first, I'll send a friend request, don't worry. How is she, Mum I mean? Are you and Adam okay? I really miss you as well. I will come and see you soon, but right now I'm in France, filming my new movie! You can come to the premiere of it if you like? Guests of Honor, lol. I look forward to hearing from you. Love, Marie x

Marie went to Kelsie's profile, and clicked on 'Add friend'
She noticed her profile picture was of her as a child. And then she looked at her location, Twinbrook, Simisouri. Same town. One of the biggest changes was her name wasn't Kelsie Bell, It was Kelsie Smith. Marie looked a little further down the page to look at her family and relationships.  She saw that Kelsie was married to Jacob Smith. His name didn't ring any bells to her. Marie looked through her photos, she saw a little boy with blonde hair. She read the comments below.
Jacob Smith: Aw, Our boy looks so cute in this picture, lol xx
Kelsie Smith: I know, he's so adorable!
Adam Bell: My little nephew!
Holly Greenwood: He's a very lucky little boy, he's going to grow up very good looking like his parents lol x
Kelsie Smith: Thanks Adam, LOL Holly, of course he will;-)xx

Rose and Abbie looked in each other's phone for people to invite to the sleepover. So far they had invited
Melanie Hans
Sandy Ashton
Aimee Doe
Mackenzie Doe
Alisha Mystery
Sallie Lanse
Adrianna Chaznar

Everyone arrived on time and raided the kitchen! They all slept in the kitchen as well.
Abbie grew up at her sister's party. She thought she could help her in school whilst she was getting over James.

Some boys even snuck into the party! Matt was caught sneaking in the kitchen and eating all the pizza! Abbie woke up and saw him.
"Hey! What are you doing here?" She yelled at him
"Oh, I, Um..." He stuttered.
"It's okay. You shouldn't be sneakin' around here! It's a girls only sleepover!"
"Oh, Well, I'm here now. I guess it'll have to be a girls sleepover with Matt!" He grinned.
Abbie giggled. "I'm Abbie,"
"Matt,"
They went outside and played on the swingset.
"So, why did you sneak into our party?"
"Oh, I heard there was a party, and decided to crash it, for a joke."
"Well, you've failed." She laughed, and looked up into his eyes.
"I didn't fail on one thing,"
"What?"
"This," He said as he grabbed her, and pulled her into an embrace and kissed her lightly. It was their first kiss, ever! And love at first sight...

Elsewhere in the house, Melanie, Sandy, Nichol, Leona and Janice were doing each others hair, here's Melanie's, as styled by Sandy;
Sandy put it into a long braid. Melanie was pleased with her new hairstyle!

Nichol did Sandy's hair;
Sandy didn't like Nichol's style as much as her own, but to be nice, she kept it and said thanks.

Leona did her sister's hair. Nichol looks so cute with her hair like this!

Janice did Leona's hair. Janice settled on some loose plaits and cute bobbles to tie them together.

Melanie did Janice's hair.
Janice really liked her new hair style and hugged Melanie.
The five of them headed up into their tree house, and slept there for the rest of the night.

Surprisingly, the teens fell asleep way before the children, and were out like a light. Hopefully next time they wont be as tired, and can tell scary stories, have midnight feasts, have pillow fights, and play truth or dare!

Milla and George sat on the swingset at the park. They waited until they saw someone go inside the house next door.
"What are you going to say when you meet them?" George asked his girlfriend.
"Well, I think I'll start by saying that my name is Milla, and I was adopted by a kind family. I'll show them the papers I was given by the ladies at the orphanage, and hopefully they'll remember me." She paused a second, "Are you absolutely sure this is the right house?"
"Yeah, I saw Doe written on their mailbox whilst we were waiting at the door."
"I'll finally know where I get my eyes, my hair, my nose! Oh, George, I can't wait!"
He smiled at her and kissed her lightly.

Austin got home late, and crawled into bed. He couldn't sleep. Images of Hanna being attacked, raped, and killed swirled in his mind. He loved his twin, and if anything happened to her, he would make sure they would pay for what they've done, no matter what the consequences. Pictures of Kendra walking away from him, slowly, in the dress she wore to the prom, in a white room and a huge window. Kendra waltzed towards the window, and through the glass, and faded away with the wind. She was going to Bridgeport, leaving him for good. He was finally asleep, living a nightmare. No sweet dreams tonight....

Pete wouldn't give up searching, he walked the streets day and night to find Hanna. He knew there was no hope in finding her, but there was still that 'what if' chance. What if she was still alive, or barely alive? What if she was safe and warm, but somewhere else? What if she was dead? Locked up in a room? Being abused? What if he never found her? He shuddered at the thought of Hanna being gone forever, and walked home, and slept for a few hours. They still had to go to school the next morning, although it was drawing to the end of the year for him.
Pete, Hanna, Austin, Kendra, Mint, Florence, Danny, Alisha, Jenna and Aidan were all graduating and leaving school. They were becoming young adults! It was meant to be a time of joy and happiness, except for Pete, he was loveless, and had nothing to look forward to.
It had officially been over 24 hours since Hanna went missing, so the next morning, Pete and Austin were going up to the police station, and reporting her missing.

Alisha sat alone in her bed. It was cold without Delvin. Sandy was out at a sleepover, Hanna was missing and Austin didn't want to talk. She laid on her side for hours and thought about her baby girl. Alisha saw Hanna come down the stairs and ride away in the limousine with Pete, she even shed a tear that day. That was the last time she saw her. She hadn't seen Delvin since the morning, and he was already in France, and hadn't even bothered to contact them. He wasn't even aware his daughter was gone. Alisha turned on the bathroom light, and picked up her mobile off the nightstand, she called Delvin.

"Hello?" She cried.
"Alisha? What's up, honey? It's getting real late here,"
"She's gone," Was all she managed to get out.
"Who's gone? What are you talking about?"
"H-Hanna, she's gone." She burst out into tears.
"No, no honey. Tell me that's not true!" He screamed.
"It's true! She's gone! She's gone! She's goneeee!" Alisha curled up into the corner and pushed herself against the wall and sobbed.
"Alisha, I'm coming home. Sandy and Austin are alright though?"
"Yes, They're fine, but Hanna! She's been gone for 24 hours, she's missing!"
"Don't worry, I'll let Andrew know I need to go home and find my baby girl!"
"Delvin, I love you. Just get here soon, okay? I need someone, anyone at all."
"I'll be back soon, my love. And so will Hanna!"
Alisha brightened up as he said the last words. "You really think so?"
"Yes, She'll be fine, I'll make sure she's back home safe."
"Bye, Delvin." Alisha said as she put the phone down.
"Bye, Hon-"

Delvin put his phone away and walked downstairs to find Andrew drinking his coffee.
"Andrew, I need to tell you something,"
"Go ahead,"
Delvin let out a sigh, "I need to go home,"
"Why? You just got here!"
"My daughter is missing. She's been gone for 24 hours. Nobody saw her after the prom ended."
"Oh my god! You need to find your baby! Don't you worry, we'll postpone the movie until she's found!" He declared.
"Thank you SO much Andrew!"
"It's okay, just don't get involved with the Pap's."

Less than an hour later, it was all over the news.
"Delvin Ashton, starring in the romance movie of the year, has apparently asked to leave the movie for unknown reasons. Our sources say Delvin, father of three, is missing his kids, and needed to go home to see them. Other reports say his daughter, Hanna is missing." The television blared.
"Oh, Shit!" Maire said as she watched the news report in her hotel room.
Delvin was next door. Marie threw on her dressing gown and knocked on his door.
"Come in,"
"Delvin, I just saw the news! Oh my god! Are you alright? I hope she's okay,"
"Oh, Hanna? Alisha called me an hour ago to say she's gone, and I asked Andrew if I could go home. Somehow, it's ended up worldwide."
"Ughh, I hate the paparazzi, sticking their noses in where it's not wanted. I just hope you find her okay. Keep me updated."
"I will, Thanks Marie, for your support."
"It's alright, I just wish you return the favor."
"As in what?"
"Support your unborn child, that's what!"
"How do you know it's mine? And keep your voice down, do you really want the 'paparazzi sticking their nose in'?"
She lowered her voice. "Sorry. I know it's yours. Just be there, okay? Come see them once in a while, discreetly obviously. I know we're over, but we have to stand up and take the punishment."
"You're right, I get what I deserve, but Hanna doesn't deserve to be taken from me!" He cried and sobbed on her shoulder.
"It's okay, it's okay, Delvin. She's going to be fine, just calm down, every thing's going to be alright."

Marie left his room after hours of comforting. She helped him pack up, and requested she leave also. She needed to come home and tell Louis her news.
They were flying out in the morning. It's amazing what you can get when your famous....

After what seemed like years of waiting, Milla caught a glimpse of her parents walking into their house.
"George! They're home!" She cheered.
"Babe, it's getting late, don't you think we should let them rest? I mean, come on, they look like they just got in from work and are super tired. Would you like a stranger knocking on your door in the early hours claiming that they're your daughter?"
"No..."
"I thought so. Let's go home and come back tomorrow morning? At least we know where to find them."
"I guess so. I'm real tired too."
They hopped in the car and drove home. Milla was determined to meet them at least once. She was going back tomorrow morning at 8.
George just wanted her to be happy, so he wanted to come along too. He had something very important to ask her father...

Will Milla meet her parents in the morning?
What is George going to ask?
Can Rose ever be happy again?
Was Matt for real with Abbie, or was he just playing around?
Is Hanna safe with Simon?
What mysteries will she uncover in his home?
How will Louis react to Marie's news?
